MawasBike makes electric bikes for people who ride where the tarmac stops.

Fat tyres, a step-through frame, and a motor with enough torque to make a loose gravel climb feel like a gentle rise. One bike, built properly, rather than a catalogue of near-identical models.

Why step-through

Most off-road e-bikes are built around a high top tube, which assumes you can swing a leg over 26 kilograms of loaded frame at the end of a long ride. The M1 PRO doesn't. A low step-through frame makes mounting and dismounting easy — useful on technical terrain where you are getting on and off repeatedly, and useful for anyone who simply prefers not to vault onto a bike.

What we care about

Honest specification. The numbers on this site are the numbers you get. We would rather quote a realistic range than a laboratory figure you will never achieve.

Bikes that arrive ready. Your bike comes 85–90% assembled. Front wheel, handlebars, pedals, seat height, and you are riding — usually within half an hour.

Answering the phone, metaphorically. Buying a bike online means trusting that someone is there afterwards. Email us and a person replies, usually the same day.
