1. Overview

By visiting our site or buying from us, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase from this site. By placing an order you confirm you are of legal age and have the capacity to enter a binding contract.
3. Products and pricing
All prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable sales tax, which is calculated at checkout.
We make every effort to display product colours, specifications, and images accurately. Actual appearance may vary slightly due to screen settings and manufacturing variation.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, limit order quantities, and refuse or cancel any order. If we cancel an order after payment, you will receive a full refund.
Comparison prices, where shown, refer to the manufacturer's suggested retail price or a price at which the item has previously been offered.
4. Orders and payment
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept your offer when we dispatch the goods. We reserve the right to refuse any order.
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment is processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details.
You are responsible for providing accurate billing and shipping information.

7. Warranty
We warrant that your bike will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for:
- 2 years — frame
- 1 year — motor, battery, controller, and display
- 6 months — other electrical components
The warranty covers manufacturing defects only. It does not cover:
- Normal wear items: tyres, tubes, brake pads, chain, cables, grips
- Damage from accidents, misuse, neglect, or improper assembly
- Damage from modification, or from fitting non-approved parts
- Damage from commercial or rental use
- Water damage from submersion or pressure washing
- Battery capacity loss from normal ageing (batteries lose capacity over time; this is expected and not a defect)
- Any bike whose serial number has been removed or altered
To claim, email support@mawasbike.shop with your order number, a description of the fault, and photographs or video. We will assess the claim and, at our option, repair, replace, or refund.
The warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
8. Safe use and rider responsibility
Electric bikes carry inherent risk. Riding involves the possibility of serious injury or death. By purchasing, you accept that risk.
You are responsible for:
- Reading the manual and completing assembly correctly, or having a qualified bike mechanic do it
- Wearing a helmet and appropriate protective equipment
- Knowing and following all local laws on e-bike class, speed limits, minimum age, licensing, and where e-bikes may be ridden. These vary considerably by state and municipality
- Inspecting your bike before each ride
- Following all battery charging and storage instructions
E-bike regulations differ across US states and cities. It is your responsibility to confirm that this bike is legal where you intend to ride it before you purchase.
9. Battery safety
Lithium-ion batteries require care. Use only the supplied charger. Do not charge unattended, near flammable material, or in the only exit path from a room. Do not use a battery that is swollen, punctured, dropped, or damaged. Do not attempt to open or repair a battery. Store between 10°C and 25°C. Dispose of batteries through an approved recycling facility, never in household waste.
10. Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, graphics, logos, images, and code — is our property or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from it without our written permission.
11. User submissions
If you send us comments, reviews, photographs, or suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and publish them in any medium. You confirm that your submission is your own work and does not infringe anyone else's rights.
We may, but are not obliged to, moderate or remove content we consider objectionable.
12. Accuracy of information
We work to keep this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that product descriptions, specifications, or other content are error-free, complete, or current. Any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk.
13. Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices, and their inclusion does not imply endorsement.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MawasBike is not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products, including lost profits, lost data, or personal injury arising from misuse or improper assembly.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MawasBike and its officers, directors, employees, and suppliers from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.
16. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, that provision is severable and does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

We may update these terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
